Frontera San Ignacio Peru - This amazing Peruvian coffee comes from Frontera Cooperative of San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru. Gender equality was an important factor when the land was purchased and divided among producers. This particular cooperative is unique because they empower and promote “women grown” coffee. In 2016, a committee of women was created by the cooperative and they are responsible for distributing loans which will enable producers to improve their own land while also taking part in new developments including a computer lab which allows all members to stay up to date with modern technology. In the cup you will note the cocoa, lemon and amaretto flavors. Enjoy!

Hafursa Coop Ethiopian - In the Gedeo region of Ethiopia there is a co-operative of coffee farmers called Hafursa. This co-op of 893 members grows indigenous heirloom varietals of coffee at very high altitudes. In the cup you will find many fruit-forward attributes including lime zest, strawberry and clover honey sweetness.

Los Planes Guatemala - This delicious coffee with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and cherry is grown under a heavy shade covering of native trees.  This coffee is grown by a small co-operative in Los Planes, Guatemala, produced by farmers who have a focus on sustainability and a long-term commitment to Fair Trade and Organic Certifications.

Riacho Das Varas | Brazil - Our new Brazil offering comes from the region of Matas de Minas, a delicious coffee from the farm Riacho das Varas.

Coffee from Riacho das Varas is produced by second generation farmer Ricardo Hirofumi Yoshimatsu. The farm started producing coffee in 1975. Ricardo has been keeping his family's vision for high-quality coffee while prioritizing sustainability and traceability. This Brazilian coffee is so sweet in the cup with chocolate and almond flavors.

Lake Tawar Sumatra - Our Sumatran offering comes from a co-operative of 100 small farms around Lake Tawar. The coffee has a thick, syrupy body, and undertones of malt, roasted cocoa, and spices. It stands out in our offerings as a nice medium-dark roast single origin.
